The first new development in Toronto's financial core in more than a decade, Bay Adelaide Centre, a LEED® Gold property, was launched in the summer of 2006 with the commencement of construction of Bay Adelaide West, a 1.2 million square foot, 51-storey office tower at the northeast corner of Bay and Adelaide Streets. The first building of the 2.6 million square foot project is to be completed in 2009.
